Robert's Rules of Order for Native Board Members

Almost every first nation, band, and tribe in the US and Canada has delegated some part of their authority to boards and councils. In recognition of the critical role these boards play in native government, DCIAmerica has developed this workshop in consideration of the specific needs of tribal members of School Boards, Housing Boards, Gaming Commissions, Enrollment Committees, and Tribal Councils. The first day, DCI's famous Robert's Rules of Order training, will serve as an in-depth refresher for the experienced and as a hit-the-ground-running crash course for beginners and newly elected office holders. The second day of the workshop will address goal-setting, leadership skills, and ethics.

Learn from our trainers and learn from each other. Roll up your sleeves and engage in a nononsense, productive and intensive session. We guarantee that this training will help both your board as a whole and you as a member benefit from smoother and more productive meetings.

Please call DCI at (800) 888-1027 for hotel information.
